Navy Delays Final NGEN RFP Release

The Navy has delayed by more than a month the release of its final request for proposals (RFP) for the Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN), which is intended to succeed the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), the program office said Friday. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) said the final RFP will not be issued until at least after January to give industry more time to evaluate changes that have been made to the requirements since the draft…
