ManTech International [MANT] on Monday said it has acquired Tapestry Technologies, a small Pennsylvania-based company that gives it additional capabilities in cyber defense solutions and adds new customers.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Tapestry, which was founded in 2005 and is a woman-owned small business, has about 150 employees with security clearances that will expand ManTech’s existing cyber security talent base. The company’s management will remain with ManTech.
“ManTech has a well-established reputation as a leader of full-spectrum cyber capabilities,” Kevin Phillips, chairman, president and CEO of ManTech, said in a statement. “We are pleased to add Tapestry Technologies’ talented people and strong customer relationships to the ManTech family. The addition is highly complementary and further builds upon our differentiated cyber solutions, allowing us to deliver more to our customers while positioning us for continued growth.”
The acquisition allows ManTech to expand its support to multiple directorates at the Defense Information Systems Agency. The Air Force, Army and Navy are also customers of Tapestry.
ManTech said the acquisition extends its capabilities in cyber architecture and policy development, DevSecOps-based systems, software engineering and cyber training.
