Lockheed Will Pay $4 Million Fine In Attempt To Sell Hellfire Missiles To United Arab Emirates: State Department

Classified Information Disclosed On JASSM Lockheed Martin Corp. [LMT] will pay a $4 million civil penalty for unauthorized actions the company took to sell Hellfire missiles to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), under a consent agreement with the State Department, the department announced. Lockheed agreed to make the payment, which State sought under two measures, the Arms Export Control Act, or AECA, and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, or ITAR.
