The U.S. Air Force has awarded Lockheed Martin [LMT] a contract to build 12 F-16s for the government of Oman, the Pentagon said this week.

The $600 million noncompetitive contract is for 10 F-16Cs and two F-16Ds and includes support equipment, technical orders and integrated logistical support.

The Foreign Military Sales contract is fixed price, time and materials and cost-plus fixed- fee. Work is scheduled to be completed by the end of November 2016, the Pentagon said.
