OMAHA, Neb. — Lawrence Livermore National Securities is negotiating a five-year extension for the management contract of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, the director said here last week. “We’re in the midst of negotiations now,” Kim Budil, director of the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) in Livermore, Calif., said at the 2024 U.S. Strategic Command Deterrence Symposium. “We anticipate… pretty rapid turn on that. We’re eager to provide stability in an important time in the country.”…
