Japan Requests $1.7 Billion In E-2D Advanced Hawkeye Airborne Early Warning and Control Aircraft

The State Department approved a possible $1.7 billion Foreign Military Sale (FMS) request to Japan for four E-2D Advanced Hawkeye Airborne Early Warning and Control Aircraft and associated equipment, parts and logistical support. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) notified Congress of the potential sale on June 1.
