Israel Requests $2 Billion FMS For Unleaded, Diesel And JP-8 Fuels

Israel has requested a potential $2 billion Foreign Military Sale of fuels, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress Aug. 5 Israel requested a possible sale of 60 million gallons of unleaded gasoline, 284 million gallons of JP-8 aviation jet fuel, and 100 million gallons of diesel fuel. The proposed sale of the JP-8 aviation fuel would enable Israel to maintain the operational capability of its aircraft inventory, DSCA said in a statement.
