Tenders to buy 22 attack helicopters for the Indian Air Force (IAF) issued in May 2008 have been canceled, Defence Ministry sources tell the Indian Times. Fresh tenders for the helicopters will be issued soon, the sources said, after three request for proposals (RFP) from foreign defense companies did not meet government requirements.
