By Emelie Rutherford Pentagon leaders warned Senate appropriators yesterday that multiple defense initiatives-- including buying unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)--would be jeopardized if Congress skips over passing a base defense appropriations budget for next fiscal year, as has been rumored on Capitol Hill.
