GAO Says Risk of Runway Collisions High

A "distressing" Government Accountability Office (GAO) report says that U.S. air travelers face "a high risk of catastrophic runway collision" because of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) inattention to the problem, technical glitches with advanced safety equipment and an overworked air traffic controller workforce.
