Effort to Unclog New York’s Kennedy International Underway

It is expected to take a month or more of closed-door contentious meetings between federal, airport and airline officials to determine whether voluntary or imposed flight reductions will fix "epidemic" delays at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport. Two days (Oct. 23 and 24) were set aside for the initial scheduling meeting in Washington and talks with individual carriers will continue for weeks.
