Based on lessons being learned from the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian War and the U.S. Army’s needs to be part of the joint fight in the Indo-Pacific region, the service plans to invest more in the areas of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), systems that counter drones, and electronic warfare (EW) capabilities, Army Secretary Christine Wormuth said on Wednesday.
