DIU Selects Slew Of Awardees For Quantum Sensing To Address PNT

The Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) on Wednesday awarded prototype contracts to a number of startups, traditional, and non-traditional defense companies to demonstrate quantum sensing technology for positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT), and anomaly detection for military needs. The awardees and their subcontractors include mainstay contractors such as Honeywell [HON], Leidos [LDOS], Lockheed Martin [LMT], and Northrop Grumman [NOC], and startups and others that include Alare Technologies, Anduril Industries, AOSense, Beacon Photonics, Freedom Photonics, Frequency Electronics, Inc., Nexus Photonics, Princeton Innotech,…
