DHS Adds More Foreigners To US-VISIT

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) yesterday said it will begin collecting biometric data under the US-VISIT program from more categories of foreigners seeking entry into the United States. The biometric data includes 10 digital fingerprints and a photograph. The expansion of the biometric data collection will increase the US-VISIT database, called IDENT, which has more than 90 million sets of fingerprints.
