Cross Match Technologies has introduced its handheld multi-modal biometric enrollment and identification device, called SEEK for Secure Electronic Enrollment Kit, joining L-1 Identity Solutions [ID] and Cogent Systems [COGT] as competitors in that market space. The SEEK device captures and formats standards-based flat and rolled prints, iris and facial images, which conform to the Electronic Biometric Transmission Specification.
