TSA Awards Infozen Potential $212M Contract to Support Intel Office

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has awarded federal information technology services and solutions provider Infozen a potential $212 million indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for operations and maintenance of the agency’s Office of Intelligence & Analysis Operations and Computing Environment. The initial task order is worth up to $79 million. The competitively awarded contract follows a successful protest of the original contract in July 2013. Infozen, which was the incumbent, continued to receive contract extensions until the new contract award this month.

Kratos Gets $81M for Mass Transit Security System

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions [KTOS] says its Public Safety & Security Solutions division has received a five-year, $81 million contract to deploy and integrate a specialized security system for a major mass transportation authority. The customer was not disclosed although Kratos says the deployment will be in one of the largest metropolitan areas in the U.S.  Kratos says  it will be responsible for integration of important elements of the integrated security system, including Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition, voice communications system, closed circuit television system, and the communications and control systems testing. The award is the largest in the Public Safety & Security division’s history.

SRA to Receive $12M from DHS in Support of Cyber Security Needs

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) says it plans to award SRA International a potential one-year, $12.5 million task order bridge to maintain cyber security-related services to the National Cybersecurity and Communications Division within the Office of Cybersecurity and Communications (CS&C). DHS says the tasks to be performed under the task order reflect the program management and technical aspects of supporting the government in its development of cyber security strategies and policies, preparing for and responding to cyber events, and developing relationships between cyber security stakeholders within and among the private and public sectors. SRA will support CS&C’s Federal Network Resilience, Chief Technology Office, Stakeholder Engagement, National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center, and Plans and Program branches. The task order has a 9-month, $9.5 million base period, a three-month, $2.9 million option, and an optional $120,000 training surge. SRA has been providing the support to CS&C since 2009.

NRC to Award MAR, Inc. $12M for Cyber Security Regulations

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has awarded Maryland-based MAR, Inc. a potential five-year, $12.2 million  contract to support the agency in implementing cyber security regulations for all of its licensees, applicants and certificate holders. The agency’s Cyber Security Regulatory Program will include policies and procedures, inspection requirements, protective strategies guidance, configuration and control management, incident response and recovery program, auditing provisions, validation and verification programs, and training and awareness programs. MAR has been supporting the NRC’ Cyber Security Regulatory Program since 2009.

DHS Awards Master Security $39M for Guard Services in Northern Va.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has awarded Master Security a $39.2 million contract to provide protective security officers at 13 locations in Virginia in the National Capital Region. The contract is for five years with an additional six-month option.

USCIS Awards Ardent Potential $32M for IT Support

Ardent Eagle JV, LLC says it has received a potential 4.5 year, $32 million task order to provide Agile Architecture and Design Services to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Ardent will provide information technology program management and professional services support for definition, governance and design of multiple systems in USCIS. The award was made under the Department of Homeland Security EAGLE II contracting vehicle, Functional Category 1, small business HUBZone track. Ardent is helping to standardize the systems architecture at the agency.
