Morpho Nabs Spain Airports Contract for 290 Itemiser 4DX ETDsSafran Group’s Morpho Detection subsidiary in December said it won a contract from Spain national airport operator Aena, S.A. to supply and service 290 Itemiser 4DX desktop explosive trace detectors (ETDs) following a competitive round of operational testing. Morpho says its system was selected to meet new European Union requirements for enhanced passenger screening at more than 20 airports throughout Spain.
