Coast Guard Plans Release of NAIS Increment 2 RFP

The Coast Guard expects to release a Request for Proposals (RFP) around Dec. 20 to procure Increment 2 Phase 1 of the Nationwide Automatic Identification System (NAIS) to establish coastal transmit and receive capability. In Increment 2 Phase 1 the core NAIS capability will be designed, developed and delivered and NAIS receive and transmit coverage for three designated Coast Guard Sectors will achieve Initial Operational Capability.
