CBP Awards SRC $100 Million For Radar To Track Low, Slow Fliers

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has awarded a $100 million contract to SRCTec for an aerial surveillance radar that can detect and track small, low and slow moving aircraft that may have a small radar cross section. The award was made under the agency’s Ultra Light Aircraft Detection program. SRCTec makes the LSTAR lightweight surveillance target acquisition radar that is combat-proven, small and easily transportable.
