Capella Space to Add Mynaric Optical Terminals on Future Satellites to Test with DoD Space Architecture

Capella Space plans to add optical communication terminals to future satellites, and will use Mynaric’s terminals, the company said Tuesday. In addition, Capella plans to demonstrate the terminals’ compatibility with the U.S. Space Development Agency (SDA)’s new National Defense Space Architecture (NDSA). Capella Space is a commercial provider of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), imagery that can be captured in the dark and through clouds.
