Cyber Command Issues Solicitation for Omnibus Contract

The Defense Information Systems Agency on behalf of U.S. Cyber Command has issued a Request for Proposal for an Omnibus Contract that will consist of two indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts, one that is unrestricted and the other as a small business set aside. The potential value of the award is $475 million. Services provided under the contract will include mission support of Cyber Command and the Cyber National Mission Force. The objective of the contract is to develop measurable outcomes to streamline Cyber Command’s acquisition of cyber mission support capabilities and services, information technology services, and cyber professional services. CBP Issues Draft RFP for X-Ray Van System

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued a draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for X-Ray Van Systems as part of its Non-Intrusive Inspection program. The agency plans a five-year, single award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract. The mobile X-Ray systems are currently used by CBP to inspect passenger baggage and parcels at U.S. land, air and sea ports of entry to prevent the illegal entry of drugs, currency, weapons and agricultural products into the country. DHS OBIM Issues RFI for Biometric Matching System Technologies

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to collect information from industry on specific current and near-future technologies in the area of biometric matching system technologies with capabilities that include business process and transaction management, biometric matcher middleware, multimodal biometric fusion, reporting and analytics tools, and data storage architecture. FBI Interested in Chem/Bio Point Detection System

The FBI has issued a Request for Information to conduct market research for sources of a portable point detection sensing technology system for chemical and biological threats. ICE Seeks Access to License Plate Reader Commercial Database

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is soliciting to obtain query-based access to a commercially available license plate reader (LPR) database. The agency says it is neither seeking to build nor contribute to a national public or private LPR database. ICE will use LPR information obtained in response to queries of the commercial database to for immigration enforcement. The agency says its law enforcement personnel will query the database using known license plate numbers associated with the aliens who are immigration enforcement priorities, based on investigative leads, to determine where and when the vehicle has travelled within a specified period of time. The LPR information will also help ICE in investigations related to national security, illegal arms exports, financial crimes, commercial fraud, trafficking, narcotics smuggling, child pornography, and immigration fraud. DHS S&T Issues BAA for Attribution Signature Studies for Chemical Threat Agents

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate has issued a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for chemical attribution signatures for the purpose of recovering and associating samples collected at chemical events with each other and with their source.
