Booz Allen Acquires Defense Technology Company PAR Government

Booz Allen Hamilton [BAH] on Monday said it has acquired PAR Government Systems Corporation (PGSC) in a deal that will provide more defense technology solutions to the tactical edge. PGSC was a subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation [PAR], which said the $95 million cash transaction closed on June 7. PAR is honing its focus on its core business of providing software and hardware solutions to the restaurant industry. Based in Rome, N.Y., PGSC has capabilities in small unmanned aircraft systems…
