B-21 Bomber Making Progress On Software, Air Force Says

Software deliveries have begun for the U.S. Air Force’s future B-21 Raider bomber, a service official said late April 18.“We’ve delivered the first set of software for the platform, and we’re going through that,” said Lt. Gen. Arnold Bunch, military deputy in the Air Force acquisition office. “And we’re getting set up for the next set of software to come in.” With the B-21, the Air Force hopes to avoid the kinds of software problems that have plagued some of its other major aviation…
