Amid Soaring Demand, Palantir Gets $795 Million Boost For Maven Smart System

The Defense Department on Tuesday awarded Palantir Technologies [PLTR] a $795 million modification to the company’s existing contract to provide more software licenses for a battlespace awareness software platform increasingly in demand by U.S. warfighters. The new award runs through May 2029 and follows a $480 million production contract Palantir received last year to transition the Maven Smart System (MSS) into production (Defense Daily, May 30, 2024).
