Accenture Completes Purchase of MAXIM

Accenture [ACN] yesterday said it has completed its acquisition of defense consulting firm MAXIM Systems, Inc., giving it new capabilities in designing, developing, installing and supporting C4ISR systems for military and intelligence agencies. "C4ISR is a key strategic growth area for Accenture," Eric Stange, managing director of Accenture's United States Defense practice, said in a statement. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
