A short term continuing resolution (CR) would have little impact on the Army’s foremost acquisition priority, the Improved Turbine Engine Program (ITEP) meant to increase the range and performance of UH-60 Black Hawk and AH-64 Apache helicopters, program officials said Monday.Although the service kicked off the program in earnest on Sept. 24, when it released a Request for Proposals for the preliminary design phase of the competition, ITEP is not considered a new start program, said Army Lt.
