By Marina Malenic The Air Force's Fiscal Year 2010 spending blueprint calls for a slight increase in spending on space systems over FY '09 outlays, with a large portion of the increase going toward urgent wartime needs. The air service is setting aside some $113 million to purchase new hardware for space-based intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), responding to the urgent needs of combatant commanders.
