
The State Department has approved a potential $500 million deal with Bahrain for M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) launchers. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) notified Congress on Thursday of the new foreign military sale. Under the deal, Bahrain would receive four Lockheed Martin [LMT]-built HIMARS launchers and three International Field Artillery Tactical Data Systems.
