TSA Plans Solicitation for Credential Authentication-Boarding Pass Scanners

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has issued a pre-solicitation notice related to the potential purchase, deployment and operational maintenance of about 100 Credential Authentication Technology-Boarding Pass Scanning Systems (CAT-BPSS) with an option to procure up to 2,350. The purpose of CAT-BPSS is to provide TSA with a primary means for automated credential authentication of passenger travel documents and validation of boarding passes.
