TSA Interested in Stand-Off Screening in Non-Sterile Area

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is conducting market research of Stand-off Detection (SOD) systems for the screening of passers-by in the non-sterile areas of airports. The preliminary goal for the SOD is a system capable of detecting explosives concealed on the bodies of passers-by in those areas without interrupting the flow of traffic in the stream of commerce.
