Trade Reclassification Frees XPAK for Easier Foreign Sales, RedX Says

RedXDefense says a reclassification of export rules as they apply to the company's handheld explosives detection system, XPAK, means it will no longer require a license to be sold to international customers. Because the device was developed in part using funds from the Pentagon's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, XPAK had been subject to the International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR) as defined by the State Department.
