TOR Robotics Develops VTOL Robot

A San Francisco-based company has developed a vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) robot that could provide solutions in security and surveillance. TOR Robotics’ Q-4 Drone is a fully-automated, multi-rotor robot system designed to fly without a pilot or need for a complicated ground station. The Q-4 Drone is designed primarily for inspection missions in difficult to reach locations like building rooftops, pipelines, electrical networks and borders, among others. The Q-4 Drone.
