Spanish Army Conducts First NASAMS Live-Fire In Spain

Raytheon [RTN] and Norway's Kongsberg recently supported the Spanish army's successful live-fire exercise in Spain of its National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS), a surface-launched Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) system. "Raytheon's support to the Spanish Army enabled it to conduct missions independently," Pete Franklin, vice president, National Theater and Security Programs for Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems, said.
