SNC Working With Microsoft To Bolster IVAS Headset With Battlespace Awareness Tools

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) said Friday it’s collaborating with Microsoft [MSFT] on the Army’s Integrated Visual Augmentation System, integrating its TRAX software and Digital Grid capabilities to provide “real-time data and enhanced situational awareness” with the new headset. “This partnership is designed to enhance the IVAS headsets with enriched data sets, improved interoperability and superior battlespace awareness for soldiers on the ground,” SNC said in a statement.  SNC is the second firm in the last month to announce it has…
