Siemens Siveillance SiteIQ Approved to Track Non-TWIC Card Holders

The Coast Guard has given security officials at the Port of Wilmington, Del., permission to leverage Siemens' [SI] Siveillance SiteIQ video surveillance system to monitor truckers and port visitors not carrying Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC). The port is able to use the video surveillance system to constantly monitor designated secure areas, allowing it to comply with TWIC mandates without having to physically escort non-credentials individuals traversing the facility.
