Measure Also Includes $1.1 Billion For NOAA Satellites The Senate Appropriations Committee approved a sweeping appropriations bill that includes $17.8 billion for NASA, some $200 million more than President Bush requested for the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2009. That $17.8 billion is $505 million more than NASA funding in the current fiscal 2008.
