Germany has agreed to a new framework contract for 155mm artillery ammunition with Rheinmetall worth up to $9.1 billion, the largest order in company history, that will include deliveries to support Ukraine. Rheinmetall said delivery of artillery rounds produced under the new contract will begin in 2025, and will also cover replenishing German stockpiles and munitions for European partners including the Netherlands, Estonia and Denmark. “We are delighted about the largest order in our company’s recent history.
