Raytheon and Italy’s Avio Sign Solid Rocket Motor Agreement

RTX's [RTX] Raytheon business and Italy-based Avio said at England's Farnborough Air Show on July 23 that they have signed a contract to develop military solid rocket motors and bolster the U.S. defense industrial base for the latter. "The contract furthers the systems engineering work required to mature these solid rocket motors into a production-ready state," Raytheon said.
