Radian Aerospace Introduces Reusable Space Platform For Hypersonic Testing, Orbital Use

Radian Aerospace has introduced a reusable space capsule it is developing as a testbed for technologies it is developing and for customers developing hypersonic and spaceflight systems, giving the Seattle-based startup a means to generate near-term sales while it continues development of a reusable spaceplane. Radian is targeting the 2026 timeframe for the first launch or the Radian Reusable Reentry Vehicle (R3V), which can be launched atop a small or medium launch vehicle, the company said on Tuesday.
