President Barack Obama hasn’t seen a draft executive order intended to improve the cybersecurity of critical private networks, the head of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said last Friday, when she refused to give a timeline for when it would be released. DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, though, did make a push at a summit in Washington for companies to view investments in cybersecurity as benefitting the nation.
