Navy’s eCASS Test Systems To Use National Instruments’ PXI Products

Lockheed Martin [LMT] will integrate National Instruments’ PXI modular instrumentation and platform products in the Navy’s electronic Consolidated Automated Support System (eCASS), National Instruments said in a statement. eCASS replaces the service’s existing CASS program as its core test system for on-ship and on-shore electronic subassembly diagnostics and repair. The NI PXI platform is PC-based and combines PCI electrical-bus features with the modular, Eurocard packaging of CompactPCI.
