NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen met with U.S. President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and National Security Advisor Gen. James Jones Sept. 29 after a Sept. 28 meeting with Defense Secretary Robert Gates. Rasmussen and Obama extensively discussed the next steps on Afghanistan.
