Lumidigm Fingerprint Sensor Integrated into Innometriks TWIC Reader

Lumidigm Inc. says its Venus fingerprint sensors have been selected to be integrated into the Innometriks Inc. smart card and biometrics reader developed for the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) program. The reader, which also features a HID smartcard reader, a 3.5 inch color LCD and a keypad, is designed to operated outside in direct weather with no enclosure, covering or other protection.
