L-1 Identity Solutions [ID] has received a combined $13.4 million in orders from Latvia and Paraguay for various identity solutions and services. Latvia awarded L-1 an $8 million contract renewal to produce licenses for automobile drivers and pleasure craft operators. The work runs from Feb. 1, 2009 through Dec. 31, 2012. The original contract, which began in 2004, included hardware, software and consumables. The extension is for maintenance and consumables.
