Top Gates Aide To Lockheed Martin. Robert Rangel, a top adviser to former Defense Secretary Robert Gates, has taken a job at Lockheed Martin, the company says. Rangel has joined the company's Washington operations as vice president, programs and policy, reporting directly to Lockheed Martin CEO Robert Stevens.
