Raytheon [RTN] on Oct. 24 said its third quarter earnings and sales both fell slightly but the company’s results beat expectations and the outlook for sales, earnings and cash were all increased for 2013. Net income edged down 2 percent to $489 million, $1.51 earnings per share (EPS), from $500 million ($1.50 EPS).
