HASC Repubs Slam DoD For Limiting Reports To Congress

Upset by the quality of a report from the Pentagon on China’s military, House Republicans called yesterday for the defense secretary to stop limiting the length of reports to Congress. House Armed Services Committee (HASC) Chairman Howard “Buck” McKeon (R-Calif.) said his staff learned yesterday, during a briefing on China, that the Office of the Secretary of Defense has implemented a policy limiting the length of reports to Congress to 15 pages.
