DRS Technologies, the U.S.-based subsidiary of Italy's Finmeccanica, has opened its second Heavy Aircraft Maintenance Facility in Elizabeth City, N.C., doubling the capacity of its current facility that supports the maintenance, repair and overhaul of the HC-130 and other Coast Guard and Department of Homeland Security aircraft.
