DIU To Vet Advanced Manufacturing Capabilities Similar To Blue UAS List

The Defense Department’s Innovation Unit (DIU) plans to start a new effort that will vet technologies and their suppliers used in advanced manufacturing to ensure they meet certain requirements related to cybersecurity and foreign interests, the director of the office said on Thursday. The Blue Manufacturing project will mirror DIU’s existing Blue UAS and Blue UAS Framework that are used to quickly assess commercial providers of drones and related components for compliance with U.S. laws and policies related to cybersecurity…
