DIU Awards Prototype Contracts To Streamline Program Execution

The Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) this week said it has awarded one-year contracts to three commercial companies that provide artificial intelligence-powered software that automates business management workflows with the goal being to enhance the Defense Department’s visibility into the lifecycle of the unit’s programs. The companies are expected to provide a minimum viable product before the end of 2025, a DIU spokesperson said.
